Main Responsibilities
The selected candidate will independently handle the following tasks, with responsibility for leading at least one of them.
- Support bidding process for indirect procurement and MRO based on should cost estimates, cost breakdown and spend analysis across multiple locations.
- Review price adjustments based on cost structures and economic indices.
- Develop and standardize procedures and processes within the cost analysis area.
- Create theoretical process flows to support cost analysis and decision-making.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities for services (indirect procurement).
- Apply a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach, considering parts/services, logistics, warranty, after-sales, and guarantees.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Finance, Logistics, and other business units to ensure a comprehensive product and service cost view.
- Facilitate and support cost reduction workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyse competitiveness in the market.
- Build and maintain a technical cost database for reference and benchmarking.
- Conduct teardowns of parts for cost and process evaluation.
- Perform Make or Buy analyses and economic and financial feasibility studies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration, economics, accounting, or related field.
- Master's in finance, project, business management or PMP certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years’ solid experience in cost analysis, indirect procurement, or related functions.
- Proficiency in Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methodology.
- Strong understanding of indirect procurement.
- Ability to develop comprehensive costing models using diverse data inputs.
- Capable of comparing multiple solutions to identify the best cost-benefit outcomes.
- Skilled in generating guidelines and cost estimates based on assumptions and available data.
- Ability to deliver clear, structured presentations tailored to various organizational levels.
- Sound knowledge of strategic sourcing for services.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools such as Kaizen, FMEA, VSM, PDCA, 5S, RCCA, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.

- Proactive in applying Lean and continuous improvement concepts to daily work activities.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
- Displays flexibility and reliability in meeting work schedule requirements and business needs.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to apply AI‑driven insights to sourcing strategies, cost modeling, supplier risk management, and negotiation preparation.
- Experience with SAP and/or Quantum Systems preferred
- Ability and readiness to work flexible hours as needed.
