Licensed Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

Hiring for 2-3 therapists at our Austintown office.

Embrace is a growing group private practice! We are dedicated to helping those who are struggling with a variety of problems. We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Austintown, OH. This position is 1099 and offers flexibility for either a fully in-person role or mostly in person with some virtual hours. No completely virtual options at this time. As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families dealing with a range of mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will have experience in evidence-based practices, a strong understanding of mental health conditions, and a dedication to supporting clients through their healing journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions in person or via secure telehealth platforms, depending on the chosen hybrid schedule.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for clients experiencing a wide variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and relationship concerns.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.) to provide effective treatment interventions.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet goals.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and ensure the safety of clients.
• Educate clients and families about mental health, coping strategies, and community resources.
• Stay informed on current trends and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance service delivery.
• Adhere to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted state licensure in Ohio (LISW, LSW, LPCC, LPC,).
• Skills:
• Proficient in providing both in-person and virtual therapy (experience with telehealth platforms preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and the ability to tailor treatment to individual needs.
• Ability to handle complex and emotionally challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialty working with children, families and/or couples
• Specializations in trauma, substance use disorders, or other specific therapeutic areas.
• EMDR, DBT and/or ERP trained
• Evening or weekend HIGHLY preferred
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation software.

Benefits:

• Flexible work schedule: Fully in-person with some virtual hours
• 1099
• Minimum of 15 client hours per week preferred
• Pay for independently licensed clinicians: 60/40 split (ranging from $57-72/clinical hour) when seeing 15-19 clients per week then 65/35 slit ($60-$78/clinical hour) when seeing 20 clients per week.
• Pay for dependently licensed clinicians: 55/45 slit (ranging from $52-$66/clinical hour). This could include 1-2 hours of weekly supervision and signing off on all documentation dependent on how many hours worked.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $52.00 - $84.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
