Role Description This is a remote, 100% Commission, contract role for a Business Development Representative. The person in this role will identify and qualify potential clients through targeted outreach, online research, and inbound lead follow-up. They will conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs, clearly communicate Emberstone’s services, and articulate the value of strategic consulting support. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a pipeline of opportunities, scheduling consultations for senior consultants, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The role also involves collaborating with the consulting team to refine ideal client profiles, test outreach messaging, and provide feedback on market r
esponses.Qualifications
- Proficiency in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, including outreach, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
- Strong Sales and Business Development skills, with experience moving prospects through a consultative sales process.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and confident virtual presentation.
- Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online research platforms to track and analyze prospect activity.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet activity and conversion targets.
- Experience selling professional services or B2B solutions; familiarity with consulting, small business operations, or growth strategy is a plus.
- Demonstrated curiosity, resilience in outbound sales, and a data-informed approach to testing and improving outreach.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
