We are excited to announce it is accepting applications for HR Manager for the Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles/Glendale.
REQUIRED: Prior HR Manager in a Hotel and ADP WFN Experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
- Adhere to Embassy Suites by Hilton guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
- Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines
- Process of all new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations
- Assist managers with the review of meal periods, missed punches, over-time and payroll processing related matters
- Provides support in the delivery of corporate programs/communications such as recognition, development, and company celebrations
- Assists hiring managers with recruitment and selection efforts including posting positions, interviewing and completing references
- Represents the Company to outside agencies including appearances at unemployment hearings
- Assist with monthly health insurance enrollment process using HRIS
- Work with Corporate HR in managing leaves of absences in compliance with FMLA/CFRA/PDL laws
- Updates bulletin board and compliance posters as needed
- Coaches supervisors and managers in managing performance issues
- Assist managers with the performance review process
- Responsible for tracking and assisting with New Hire Orientation
- Maintain team member files using ADP WFN
- Other duties as needed
Knowledge/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- HRIS (ADP WFN) experience REQUIRED
- Languages: Written and verbal understanding of English, fluent in Spanish a plus
- Three years or more of related experience in Human Resources (Hotel)
- Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must have the highest level of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality
- Must be able to effectively work with all levels in the organization
- Experience conducting harassment, discrimination, and workers’ comp investigations

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
