Job Summary: The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the resort, including our signature restaurant. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring efficient and smooth service.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff to maintain high levels of productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards across all outlets.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Support the Director in developing and maintaining menu programs, vendor relationships, and purchasing procedures.
- Assist in conducting regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain excellent communication and coordination between all food and beverage outlets.
Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is preferred.
- Demonstrated financial understanding, including cost control, ordering, and budgeting.
Position Requirements
- 2 years of experience in food, beverage, or hospitality management required.
- 1 years in a supervisory role required.
- Certification in ServSafe Manager, TIPS, or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of bar service and liquor inventory controls preferred.
Work Environment and Context
- Work schedule varies and may include working varied shifts, holidays and weekends.
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
