Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure top-quality standards.
• Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless environment.
• Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and other essentials to meet guest needs efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hospitality.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
• Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial or janitorial cleaning techniques when needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous; hospitality experience is highly valued.
