Purpose for the Position:
To set up banquet tables, chairs, stage and all other applicable meeting room setups in a professional manner and in compliance with OHM and brand standards.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- Required to lift in excess of 40 pounds every day.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Sets up all banquet function tables, chairs, stage pieces and other furniture required for meetings, conventions, weddings, etc.
- Sets up all perishable items for banquet service such as bread, butter and cream.
- Clears away all dishes and items used in the service of a banquet, including the linens.
- Ensures the proper storage of all items from equipment to perishable foods.
- Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Abides by OHM and hotel brand standards, policies, and regulations.
- Relieves other team members allowing for breaks during the shift.
- Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
- Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Hours:
- Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
