Position Overview
We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, providing guidance on procedures, safety protocols, and service expectations.
- Assign cleaning tasks and manage work schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities; assist with ordering as needed.
- Address and resolve guest requests or concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and track room repairs or facility issues.
- Uphold safety and sanitation regulations in compliance with hotel and industry standards.
- Assist in onboarding new housekeeping team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and sanitation practices.
- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software and standard office applications.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
