Job Title: Entry-Level Electrician / Electrical Apprentice (Commercial Construction)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Electrician to support commercial construction projects in Columbus OH. This role will work under the direction of experienced electricians to assist with the installation of electrical systems in commercial facilities such as office buildings, healthcare facilities, retail centers, and industrial spaces. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in the electrical trade through hands-on field experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems in commercial buildings
- Support layout and installation of conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) and cable tray systems
- Pull wire and assist with terminations under supervision
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Follow project schedules and coordinate tasks with foremen and other trades on site
- Maintain a clean and organized job site in compliance with safety standards
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Participate in job site meetings and daily briefings as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Interest in commercial construction and electrical trade
- Trade school or pre-apprenticeship training preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and safety practices is a plus
- Strong work ethic and reliability (punctuality is critical on job sites)
- Ability to take direction and work well in a team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding)
- Ability to work in active construction environments (dust, noise, varying weather conditions)
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
