Responsibilities
- Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products such as produce, packaged goods, and grocery staples, ensuring accurate placement and attractive displays
- Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely and effectively
- Manage inventory control through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Assist customers with product questions, locate items, and provide friendly service to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring aisles are clear of hazards
- Support shipping & receiving activities by loading and unloading shipments with proper manual handling practices
- Collaborate with team members to execute merchandising plans and ensure retail store product knowledge is up-to-date for optimal sales support
Qualifications
- Prior retail store experience or grocery store experience is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of heavy lifting and manual handling while following safe lifting practices
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
