Job Description:
- The successful candidate will provide a high degree of technical expertise needed to produce a quality product at a competitive cost.
- Based on his/her experience working with equipment, practices, customers and people, this person has responsibility for problem solving, developing and controlling quality standards, fabricating practices, and instructing and training the appropriate personnel.
- He/she also may assist or coordinate in the design and developments of new technical processes/equipment to provide a quality product.
- This position requires the ability to work weekends and off shifts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- 3 years of experience in a technical/operational support role within a manufacturing environment
- Quality control or technical support experience for hot rolling, cold rolling, or sheet heat treatment operations
- Experience with automotive customers
- SAP system or similar systems
- Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
- Proficient with spreadsheets, including Excel
- Knowledge of ABS or Lean Manufacturing principles
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
