🔥 We’re Hiring: Senior Service Manager – Fire & Life Safety

Elyon Fire & Life Safety is growing, and we are looking for a top-tier Service Manager to lead our service department into its next stage of growth.

This is a critical leadership position in our company. We need someone with strong technical knowledge, real field experience, and the ability to lead technicians, manage service operations, and drive accountability across the department.

This is not a desk-only role.

This is not a “just keep the schedule moving” role.

This is a leadership seat for someone who knows how to build a high-performance service department.

As our Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily execution and performance of the service department, including:

• Managing service calls, repair work, deficiency repairs, and urgent customer needs
• Leading and developing service technicians
• Overseeing job scheduling, job readiness, scope clarity, and completion follow-through
• Supporting inspection operations across fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguishers, backflows, fire pumps, and related life safety systems
• Reviewing completed work and helping ensure jobs are closed and billed quickly
• Monitoring open service calls, incomplete jobs, unbilled completed work, and open deficiencies
• Creating accountability between field technicians, coordinators, sales, operations, and accounting
• Helping improve systems, communication, documentation, and customer experience
• Driving the department toward stronger revenue, efficiency, and customer retention

We are looking for a proven leader with:

• 12 years of relevant fire protection / life safety service experience
• Strong technical understanding of fire alarm (primary), sprinkler, extinguishers, backflows, fire pumps, and service troubleshooting
• Experience managing technicians, service schedules, customers, and operational priorities
• The ability to identify when field troubleshooting is off track and guide the team toward the right solution
• Strong communication skills with technicians, customers, and internal leadership
• A high-accountability mindset — no excuses, no blame, just ownership
• The discipline to lead the day early, stay ahead of problems, and finish strong
• Experience with ServiceTrade or similar field service software is a plus
• NICET, RME-I, Backflow, or other relevant certifications are a plus
