Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Tax Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative and client service support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our tax department.
Key Responsibilities:- Document and record tax filing information accurately
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, SMS, and mail
- Prepare and organize client document requests
- Review and interpret IRS transcripts (Wage & Income / Account Transcripts)
- Assist Tax Preparers by requesting additional information or supporting documents
- Track and update client account status and workflow progress
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the tax or financial services industry (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred but not required)
