Working with a leading engineering firm looking to bring on a Senior Resident Engineer to oversee major infrastructure projects across the Chicago area (Downers Grove/Lisle).
About the Role
This is a high-impact, field leadership role where you’ll be responsible for managing construction activities, leading field staff, and ensuring quality delivery on roadway, bridge, and transportation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Registered Professional Engineer in IL.
- Fifteen or more (15 ) years' experience.
- Demonstrated success as a Resident Engineer on major transportation projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Required Skills
- Strong experience in construction oversight (DOT / transportation projects preferred)
- Proven leadership managing field teams and contractors
- Ability to own projects from a construction and execution standpoint
Pay range and compensation package
$150k–$225k Compensation is highly competitive and flexible for the right person.
