CNC Mill Machinist (Manual & CNC Experience a plus)
Location: Hanover, PA | Shift: 1st Shift | Schedule: Full Time

Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Mill Machinist to produce precision metal components using manual and/or CNC vertical milling machines (including Clausing, Bridgeport, and similar equipment). You will set up machines, interpret engineering drawings with tight tolerances, run parts, and verify accuracy using measurement tools. The ideal candidate is quality-focused, safety-minded, and committed to maintaining a clean, efficient, and collaborative shop environment.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision components.
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Monitor machining operations and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed for accuracy and surface finish.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement tools to ensure consistency.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work area to support safety, cleanliness, and reliability.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to resolve machining challenges and improve processes.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and craftsmanship.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of six months of machining experience (manual or CNC).
- Ability to read and interpret G-code or basic CNC programming knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings with geometric tolerances.
- Familiarity with tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and common machining accessories.
Preferred:
- Experience with Clausing, Bridgeport, or similar vertical mills.
- Prior experience in a job shop or precision manufacturing environment.
