Job Title: Traveling Superintendent –Warehouses, Food Distribution Centers, Manufacturing Facilities

Location: Based in North Carolina (Travel Required)

Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will oversee large-scale tilt wall warehouse and food distribution center projects across the United States, focusing on cold storage facilities. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of tilt wall warehouse and food distribution center projects, with an emphasis on cold storage facilities.
• Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Lead and supervise subcontractors and construction teams, ensuring project goals are met and issues are resolved.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports, is up-to-date and accurate.
• Manage resources, materials, and budgets efficiently to prevent delays and minimize costs.
• Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Travel to various project sites nationwide, with regular home base in North Carolina.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, with a specific focus on tilt wall warehouse, food distribution centers, and cold storage facilities. Preferred experience in these areas is required.
• Strong experience in commercial construction, particularly with large-scale warehouse and distribution center projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to travel regularly and work on-site across various locations in the U.S.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience.
