Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Data Center Construction (GC)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our General Contracting team and lead the execution of a large-scale data center construction project in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical projects, with direct oversight of field operations, subcontractor performance, cost control, schedule adherence, and safety.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing MEP-intensive construction, fast-track schedules, and large subcontractor teams in a data center or mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution for data center construction projects, from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout
• Manage and coordinate superintendents, project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff
• Procure, contract, and manage subcontractors and major vendors, ensuring scope alignment and performance
• Develop, maintain, and enforce detailed project schedules and logistics plans
• Maintain full responsibility for project cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and profitability
• Review, negotiate, and approve change orders, subcontractor pay applications, and owner billing
• Oversee site safety programs and ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements
• Lead coordination of complex MEP systems including electrical, mechanical, fire protection, controls, and low-voltage systems
• Facilitate design coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews with design partners
• Ensure quality control through inspections, testing, and documentation
• Coordinate commissioning activities, turnover documentation, and final closeout
• Serve as the primary interface with the owner, design team, inspectors, and authorities having jurisdiction

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction project management
• 5 years of experience delivering data center, mission-critical, or highly technical facilities as a GC
• Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and data center infrastructure
• Proven experience managing projects with budgets in excess of $50M
• Demonstrated success managing subcontractor-driven projects and field operations
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center construction
• PMP, CCM, or other relevant professional certifications
• Design-build and fast-track delivery experience
• Experience working in active or phased mission-critical environments

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work full-time onsite at an active construction project
• Ability to traverse construction sites, including climbing stairs and ladders
• Occasional travel as required
