Maintenance Technician – Residential Properties

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our property maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be essential to maintaining the safety, appearance, and functionality of our apartment communities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, including repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them proactively.
- Respond promptly to service requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and resident needs.
- Participate in the emergency on-call rotation (typically one week per six weeks).
- Collaborate with the property management and maintenance team to coordinate efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, inventory, and inspections.
- Make ready maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of residential maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair.
- Mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
- EPA Type I & II or Universal Certification preferred.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DMV check required).
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to travel to properties throughout our portfolio as needed.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Work Environment & Perks
- Company-maintained work vehicle provided.
- Maintenance department based at our Warrenton, MO office which includes a large shop and supply area.
- Regular work hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Service area includes primarily Warren & Montgomery Counties on an as needed basis.
