This position will support internal customers to include the development, events, and programs and services teams in their marketing efforts with a specialization in social media. This position is responsible for implementing brand and trademark guidelines creating promotional materials, managing social media posts, updating the website, coordinating newsletter campaigns, overseeing public relations activities, and providing staffing support for events as needed.
The successful candidate must possess exceptional writing and storytelling skills for content creation across all channels, along with strong time/project management abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing marketing campaigns to promote Els for Autism Social Enterprises through various distribution channels such as social media, website updates and layout, press releases and email campaigns.
Execute/distribute Els for Autism newsletters including drafting content for review, designing layouts and reviewing analytics.
Design materials for internal and external communications including social media and flyers.
Implement social media strategy to include calendars, copy and visuals to present for review and approval.
Utilize social listening and analytics to glean insights and recommend strategies to support campaign goals; research and implement social media trends; create and manage social media ads; promote programs and events on community calendars.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or other related areas plus at least 3 years of marketing and design experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft office and WordPress
Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and similar
Knowledge of graphic design in the adobe suite software and/or Canva
Experience with marketing analytics/metrics; Demonstrated writing ability including proof reading
Understanding of Constant Contact email data base system
Ability to team, think creatively, develop innovative solutions
Proactive; able to work under pressure with adaptability to changing priorities
Demonstrate outstanding decision making, accountability and communication skills
Video editing skills and/or a general understanding of autism spectrum disorder are a plus
