Quality Manager – Metal Fabrication

ELO Engineering is a growing contract manufacturer of metal components for successful manufacturing companies in the electronics, medical, transportation, and industrial sectors. Our ISO certified precision metal fabrication capabilities include laser cutting, punching, forming, welding, machining, painting and assembly. Our office and manufacturing facility is located in Fridley, MN.

We are searching for a Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will be looking for a solid company where he/she can establish long-term employment that offers growth and opportunity. The position reports to the President and is a member of the Company's management team.

Responsibilities:

· Lead our 3- person Quality Team.

· Maintain and enhance our Company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality System. Plan and conduct training and internal audits to keep our production team sharp and in compliance.

· Maintain required work records and metrics, including DMR's, CAR's, DPPM, etc.

· Work to improve the Company's overall quality performance by communicating effectively to both management and employees.

· Administer our calibration system. Ensure that all tools used by Company are functioning within prescribed tolerances.

· Complete first article inspection and PPAP documentation as needed.

• Prepare quality plans for new parts and processes and complete part process qualifications prescribed by our customers.
• Investigate nonconformities and implement effective corrective & preventive actions.

· Communicate clearly and effectively with our customers in response to corrective action requests or in presenting overviews of our Quality Management System.

Desired Qualifications:

· Five years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Sheet Metal Fabrication, including working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

· Ability to use squares, calipers, micrometers, indicators, precision blocks, height gages, CMM, & other quality assurance tools. Knowledge of inspection control methods and documentation.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

· Friendly, helpful, and professional verbal and written communications, including competency in Microsoft Office.

Salary & Benefits:
