Bilingual Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Elmm Law Group is hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Legal Assistant for our Phoenix office.

This is a versatile role for someone who likes variety and truly cares about people. Your biggest job is making sure every client has a great experience with our firm from beginning to end, from their very first call through the close of their case. You will support clients, attorneys, and staff at every stage, help move clients through the process faster, and pitch in wherever the firm needs help to keep growing. No two days look the same.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Personal injury law firm experience is required. If you are organized, great with people, and happy to jump in wherever you are needed, we want to hear from you.

$20 - $24 hourly

• Own the client experience from beginning to end, from the first call to the close of the case, so every client feels informed, cared for, and confident in our firm

• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish by phone, text, and email, answering questions and keeping them updated on their cases

• Keep cases moving by following up with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters so nothing sits waiting

• Request and organize medical records, bills, police reports, and other case documents

• Translate for Spanish-speaking clients on calls, in meetings, and with paperwork

• Support attorneys and case managers with day-to-day case needs and document prep

• Help with intake, phones, and front desk coverage so every new client gets a great first experience

• Keep case notes, documents, and tasks current in our case management system

• Look for ways to improve the client experience, move cases faster, and help the firm grow

• Assist with special projects and general office needs such as scanning, mail, and filing

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required), with the ability to speak and write comfortably with clients in both languages

• At least 1 year of experience at a personal injury law firm (required)

• A client-first mindset and real care for people going through a hard time after an injury

• Familiarity with medical records, insurance claims, and how a personal injury case moves from start to finish

• Comfortable juggling a wide variety of tasks and shifting priorities throughout the day

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills, with a sense of urgency about moving cases forward

• Experience with legal case management software; CASEpeer experience is a plus

• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Able to work in our Phoenix office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
