Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and interest
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for checkout, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell relevant products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Perform basic retail math for transactions, inventory counts, and stock replenishment
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices
- Ability to perform retail math accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
