Position Summary
As Senior BI Analyst at OneElmington, you will be responsible for owning and driving the reporting cycle, delivering insightful reporting to support the goals of the business.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and leadership.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, capable of interpreting complex data and solving problems with structured logic.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines efficiently.
- Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, schema design, and ETL best practices.
- Experience in Microsoft Fabric, SQL, or Snowflake.
- Experience with Python, R, or other Data Science tool is preferred.
- Create advanced financial analytics profitability analysis, and operational metrics.
- Lead the reporting cycle from inception to delivery.
- Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements/KPIs and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives.
- Stay current with Power BI features and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- 4 years of experience working in Power BI
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
