What You’ll Do
- Perform dimensional, physical, and visual inspections of manufactured product
- Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and automated inspection equipment (CMMs, laser flatness testing, surface perthometers)
- Conduct ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspections, as required
- Complete first article inspections prior to full-scale production
- Accurately document inspection results and production data in SAP and related systems
- Support production schedules by completing inspections on time and moving product efficiently to the next work center
- Follow all quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or machining experience preferred
- Working knowledge of GD&T
- Ability to interpret inspection data and explain results clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to obtain ultrasonic and dye penetrant inspection certifications, if required
