Elmer's Home Services in San Antonio, TX is searching for a capable leader to become our full-time Inside Sales Representative – HVAC and Plumbing and advise our technicians on the best industry practices.
Your salary with commission starts at $75,000/year and can go up based on your interview and references. YOUR NEW ROLE
We're looking for someone who can work from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Monday - Friday and every other weekend.
You ensure the smooth operation of our HVAC and Plumbing departments by offering our field techs in-person and over-the-phone guidance. If a tech has a question or issue, you help them resolve it and offer tips for closing sales. Your coaching ensures our teams meet their KPI goals, reach revenue targets, and complete high-quality work.
You also spend your time creating estimates, selecting building options, and handling customer concerns. Upon completion of the job, you follow up with clients and encourage them to leave a positive review for us. To support our overall growth, you rehash calls that didn't result in a sale and identify ways to prevent staff turnover. Your efforts directly impact our success!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 years of plumbing or HVAC experience in selling products and services highly desired!
- Commitment to the industry and desire to build a long-term career
- Excellent computer proficiency, particularly with financial applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Ability to lead by example and maintain strong ethics, values, trust, and integrity
- Strong communication, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
A degree in business or psychology would be preferred but isn't required. Bilingual fluency would be a huge plus!
