Job Title: Park Maintenance & Site Service Technician
Location: Cameron, LA
Reports To: Park Manager
Position Overview
The Park Maintenance & Site Services Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the RV park. This position performs routine maintenance, groundskeeping, and site service duties to ensure park facilities remain operational and provide an exceptional experience for residents and guests.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of performing a variety of maintenance and property care tasks while representing the company in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on park buildings, cabins, laundry facilities, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Complete general maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and mechanical systems within the scope of the position.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and communicate repair needs requiring outside vendors or specialized services.
- Maintain maintenance equipment, tools, and supplies in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations and after-hours service calls as assigned.
Grounds & Property Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the park through daily grounds inspections.
- Mow, trim, edge, prune, weed, and maintain landscaped areas.
- Remove litter, debris, fallen limbs, and other hazards throughout the property.
- Empty trash receptacles and pet waste stations.
- Maintain dog parks, pavilions, playgrounds, walking areas, and other guest amenities.
- Perform pressure washing and exterior improvement projects.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance, storm preparation, and storm recovery efforts.
Site Services & Guest Support
- Respond professionally and promptly to resident maintenance requests and service concerns.
- Monitor the property for rule compliance, safety concerns, and maintenance issues, reporting findings to management.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service while interacting with residents, guests, contractors, and vendors.
Operational Support
- Assist with park improvement projects, special events, and property enhancements.
- Support other operational departments as needed to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Quality & Standards
The Park Maintenance & Site Services Technician is expected to:

Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and tools.
- Immediately report any hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, vehicles, and storage areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, landscaping, or property management preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, power tools, lawn equipment, and company vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, crouch, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, wind, and cold temperatures.
- Safely operate maintenance equipment and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Work weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation as operational needs require.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18-22/ hour depending on experience
