We are hiring a Construction Safety Officer to join our growing safety team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about safety, eager to learn, and ready to gain hands-on experience in the field. Roughly 90% of your time will be spent in the field conducting safety inspections on Company jobsites. The remaining 10% will be spent assisting with safety training, employee engagement, and administrative support.
We are seeking a candidate that is willing to learn and be part of a team. Bilingual preferred but not required. OSHA 10 and/or 30 preferred, not required. First Aid/CPR/AED preferred, not required.
Must pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen.

Key Responsibilities
· Field-Based (90%):
· Perform daily jobsite safety inspections on Company jobsites.
· Identify and document potential hazards; recommend corrective actions.
· Monitor and ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA & MSHA regulations, and NFPA 70E standards (where applicable).
· Support incident investigations, and documenting root cause analysis.
· Office/Support Functions (10%):
· Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive safety culture.
· Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
· Collaborate with site supervisors, foremen, and the safety team to reinforce safety expectations.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework or vocational training in construction or safety is a plus.
· Interest in safety and construction; prior exposure to electrical or general contracting work is helpful but not required.
· Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to multiple job sites.
· Strong communication and observation skills.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
· OSHA 10 or 30 certification (construction focus).
· CSP/ASP/CHST
· Familiarity with basic electrical safety concepts (e.g., lockout/tagout, arc flash).
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
