Job Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
- Assist with mobility and positioning of residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Current certification as a Certified Nurses Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred but not required
