Responsibilities
- Ensure all pastry items and desserts are made to restaurant standards by following the Executive Chef's guidance and recipes.
- Ensure proper inventory of pastry items by following pars based on year over year volume.
- Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu development.
- Work in a clean and organized fashion in accordance with business standards and food safety laws.
Qualifications
- 2 years of professional kitchen employment, preferably in a pastry or baking environment.
- Professional Kitchen etiquette and operational skills. Proficiency with basic baking and cooking equipment.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Creativity and attention to detail .
- Conceptual understanding of baking and culinary fundamentals and environments to include: recipe accuracy, knife skills , measuring, safety and sanitation.
