We are exclusively working on a Senior Associate, Payroll search to join a leading global investment banking advisory firm. This is a high-visibility opportunity offering broad scope, exposure to senior stakeholders, and clear long-term growth potential.
The Opportunity
This role sits within a lean, high-performing team and offers exposure beyond traditional payroll processing. You will support end-to-end payroll operations across the US and international geographies, contributing to both execution and continuous improvement of the function.
It is an environment where attention to detail, sound judgment, and ownership are valued — with direct interaction across Finance, HR, and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage international payroll across Canada and APAC and support US multi-state payroll alongside
- Process complex and off-cycle payrolls, including RSUs, bonuses, and deferred compensation
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure smooth international payroll operations
- Support Workday–ADP integrations, payroll reporting, and data integrity
- Partner on expatriate payroll and global mobility processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally on compliance, audits, and process improvements
- Leverage tools such as Excel, ADP Workforce Now, Workday, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency
Candidate profile:
- Must have experience in global payroll, alongside US payroll.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Workday
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach within a lean team structure
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Open on industry background — financial services, fintech, or similarly complex environments
