Student Worker for Food Service

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Workers for Food Service at Elliott County Intermediate. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in food service operations while contributing to a positive dining experience for their peers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in food service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of food service areas before and after meal times.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and staff, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure efficient food service operations.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to all food service policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Elliott County High School.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred.
• Must not be failing classes.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
