Overview & Responsibilities Overview: This position will assist, as assigned, the various production operators, skilled trades and other production and maintenance personnel in various functions to increase safety, quality and productivity. Responsibilities Observes all safety rules Receives instruction from supervision Receives detailed instruction from production and maintenance personnel General maintenance and operational support duties as assigned including, but not limited to: General housekeeping duties in shop areas and building grounds General painting Trash collection and disposal General landscaping and weeding Cleaning machines Simple preventative maintenance duties Assists skilled trades or machine operators in various manual tasks such as grinding of tools, work area, clean up, degreasing parts, carrying machine parts or tools, etc. Retrieves and delivers tools, fixtures, drawings, parts Moves skids, parts, trash, chip hoppers, etc., with fork truck as required Operates hoists as required Required to work from ladders or scaffolds Collects data and does simple computer transactions as required Unload trucks Assists with machine and test set-ups/tear-downs Runs errands as needed May be temporarily transferred to other direct and indirect positions Equal Employment Opportunity Ebara Elliott Energy is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by the federal, state or local laws of the United States.
