The Payroll Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing Employee Paychecks
- Preparing accounting files and records
- Resolving payroll issues
- Participating in payroll audits
- Union payroll reporting
QUALIFICATIONS (Required or preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
- Prior experience as a payroll accountant or in a similar role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Employees are expected to be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
- Understand local and governmental regulations related to payroll.
- Proficiency in MS Office:

- Attention to detail and great computational ability.
