What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant position at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Helps the Activity Director plan, organize, and direct the activity program and staff in order to fulfill the social, psychosocial, and therapeutic needs of the residents.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- provide entertainment
- exercise and relaxation
- opportunity to express creative talent
- spiritual needs
- MDS assessments
- staff scheduling and hiring
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Long term care experience preferred
- Genuine love of nursing home residents a must
- Energetic with high degree of creativity for designing activities and program
- PAY BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
