Survey Director – Suwanee, GA
We’re looking for an experienced Survey Director to lead and grow the surveying operations for our Suwanee office. What You’ll Do
Lead & Strategize
- Provide direction for the surveying division, including staffing, budgeting, planning, and quality oversight.
- Guide project teams with senior-level insight on technical approaches and best practices.
- Improve processes and support long-term departmental growth.
Build Client Relationships
- Meet with prospective and existing clients; prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Maintain ongoing communication to address technical questions, deliverables, and billing matters.
- Participate in marketing efforts and help secure new and repeat business.
Drive Project Excellence
- Oversee all surveying activities and ensure work meets the highest professional standards.
- Review scope changes, contract modifications, and resource needs to maintain profitability.
- Define project scopes, monitor schedules, and ensure timely delivery of survey products.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams across disciplines to meet project requirements.
- Review project reports, cost summaries, and monthly billing; support collections when needed.
- Mentor survey staff and guide Project Managers when required.

You’re a licensed surveying professional with extensive experience managing survey operations and leading technical teams. You bring strong business acumen, confidence in client-facing situations, and deep knowledge of land surveying tools and local regulatory requirements. Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
