Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and integrate robotic and automation systems for manufacturing applications
- Support equipment design, fabrication, installation, startup, and commissioning activities
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and automation engineers to bring new equipment from concept through production
- Develop CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings
- Participate in equipment testing, validation, and process optimization
- Assist with automation simulations and design improvements
- Work with suppliers during equipment development and technical reviews
- Support compliance with industrial standards, safety requirements, and change management procedures
- Document project activities and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Professional apprenticeship program, AAS, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Computer-Aided Drafting & Design (Manufacturing), Robotics and Automation/Mechatronics, Machining Technology, or related areas
- 0-5 years of experience working with robotics, automation, machine assembly, or manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
- Experience with industrial automation systems and material handling equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand mechanical fits and tolerances
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
