Job Brief
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for expanding and supporting our customer base through the following activities: sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, further developing existing clientele business, CRM database management and outbound cold calls and emails.
The position will primarily work during normal business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, but may require occasional off-hours and weekend work, and travel.
The goal of the Sales Development Representative is to understand customer needs and requirements and to route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Regional Sales Managers for further development and closure.
Responsibilities
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for:
- Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate products/services
- Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Closing sales and achieving quarterly goals
- Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest
- Maintaining and expanding our database of prospects
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
- Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients for Regional Sales Managers
- Staying up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on experience/growth
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales preferred
- Experience in an ISO and/or FDA regulated industry preferred
- Understanding of sales performance metrics preferred
- Computer literacy, including proficiency with word processing and CRM applications
- Salesforce Experience preferred
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
- Hands-on experience with Ellab equipment and software is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
