Duties
- Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are sanitized according to health standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients when needed
- Support food service operations by bussing tables and clearing dining areas efficiently
- Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling and cleaning procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or banquet service can be a plus but is not mandatory
