The Elkridge Club is seeking an experienced, motivated Line Cook to join our professional culinary team. Our private club offers a welcoming, team-oriented environment and the opportunity to prepare exceptional food for our members and guests.

From à la carte dining to weddings, banquets, special events, and elegant multi-course dinners, you’ll gain experience across a variety of services. Work alongside experienced culinary professionals, sharpen your skills, and contribute your ideas in a kitchen that values quality and teamwork.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare high-quality menu items at assigned kitchen stations.

• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquet, and special event service.

• Maintain consistent food quality, flavor, and presentation.

• Assist with daily preparation and kitchen operations.

• Work closely with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and culinary team.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.

• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.

• Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.

• Help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a dependable culinary professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

• Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, country club, banquet facility, or similar professional kitchen.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Ability to remain calm, focused, and organized during busy service.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Culinary education and food safety certification preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL & SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen duties.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
