Substitute teachers must possess a valid Nebraska teaching certification and have the following skills: knowledge of classroom instruction and supervision, ability to work with others, flexibility in job assignments, and be dependable and punctual. Substitute Teacher Rate of Pay for the 2024-2025 year: $170.00 per day; $190.00 per day for long-term substitute positions.
