Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing County technology strategy, implementation and management, including supervision of staff and overseeing technology budget.

Job Requirements

• Baccalaureate Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Possession of ad ability to obtain and maintain Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Project Management Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Comp TIA Network , Comp TIA A , or CCNA and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification
• Ability to properly operate standard office equipment, including computers servers, network equipment, firewalls, security systems/devices, wireless controllers/systems, and other equipment
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information
• Knowledge of budgeting practices and principles, and ability to prepare budgets and manage Department finances
• Proven ability to identify and develop a financial and business justification for technology direction then communicate those plans to the impacted user community
• Proven ability to maintain and develop a technology roadmap which maintains a modern county technology footprint and brings cost-effectiveness and efficiency to county government
