Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring County networks for security breaches, investigating security incidents, implementing measures to secure systems and developing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field or four (4) years equivalent work experience, with minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in cybersecurity
- Possession of and/or ability to obtain and maintain at least one cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security certifications required
- Provides security awareness training to employees to educate about security threats and best practices
- Thorough knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Working knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST and regularity compliance such as GDPR and HIPAA
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen
