Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Business Development Manager (U.S. Market) is responsible for identifying, developing, and structuring new business opportunities to strengthen Elka Suspension’s presence in the United States.
The role is primarily focused on the truck and powersports segments and plays a key role in strategic expansion, partnership development, and cross‑functional collaboration to support sustainable growth of the organization’s U.S. operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, open, and develop new business opportunities across the United States, primarily within the truck segment and secondarily within the powersports market;
- Structure, manage, and continuously develop a commercial opportunity pipeline aligned with the organization’s growth objectives;
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term business relationships with strategic partners, including builders, distributors, manufacturers, and key accounts;
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, engineering, and product development) to support product positioning, development, and commercialization efforts;
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to provide strategic commercial and product recommendations;
- Represent Elka Suspension with clients, partners, and at industry events, trade shows, and off‑road activities across the United States;
- Support sales teams in the development and closing of complex and strategic business opportunities;
- Contribute to revenue growth objectives and brand recognition in the U.S. market.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- Proven experience in business development, strategic sales, or partnership management, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment;
- Demonstrated experience working with or within the U.S. market (strong asset);
- Knowledge of the truck and/or powersports markets (strongly preferred).
Additional Requirements
- Availability for frequent travel within the United States;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Valid passport.
