What You’ll Do
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, planning, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements and engineering best practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing civil engineering systems for infrastructure and construction projects
- Developing stormwater management and drainage solutions
- Preparing engineering drawings, reports, and specifications
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, and construction managers
- Supporting project planning, site development, and infrastructure design
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal engineering standards
- Utilizing engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and HydroCAD
- Assisting with project coordination, documentation, and engineering analysis
- Participating in occasional site visits and field evaluations
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate combines strong technical engineering skills with a practical approach to infrastructure design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 4 years of civil engineering experience (5 years preferred)
- Experience designing stormwater management systems
- Proficiency with engineering design software such as:
- AutoCAD
- Civil 3D
- MicroStation
- HydroCAD
- EIT/EI certification required
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- EI or EIT certificate holders encouraged to apply
