Elk River Harley-Davidson is growing and we’re looking for a high-energy Parts & Accessories Sales Associate. You aren't just selling parts; you are helping riders customize, maintain, and elevate their Harley-Davidson experience.We are looking for a proactive sales professional who understands that the sale doesn't end at the counter—it’s built through persistent, professional follow-up.
The Mission: Customer ConnectionYour success is driven by your ability to stay connected with our riders. You will be responsible for:
- Proactive Outbound Engagement: Making daily phone calls, emails, and text messages to follow up on special orders, notify customers of new arrivals, and suggest upgrades to fulfill their vision.
- System Documentation: Meticulously documenting every customer interaction, part preference, and "wish list" item in our DMS and CRM systems. If it’s not in the system, it didn't happen.
- Relationship Building: Greet every customer immediately and work with multiple riders at once while maintaining individual satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Sales-Driven Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and high-energy with demonstrated "closing" and upselling skills.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to look up parts in catalogs, quote prices accurately, and master POS and inventory management software.
- H-D Knowledge: Experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycle components (suspension, engine, etc.) or the ability to learn them fast.
- Internal Support: Interface daily with Service Technicians to ensure their parts needs are met for repair orders.
- The Credentials: Current motorcycle license is preferred.
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday schedule, with extra hours during peak riding season.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Physical Ability: Frequently required to stand for long periods and lift up to 65 lbs.
- Handling Motorcycles: Must be able to balance and push an 900 lb. motorcycle.
- Environment: Exposure to loud noise, battery acid, gasoline, and exhaust fumes is probable in this environment.
