What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant/Accounts Payable position at Elk Ridge City?
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and accounting tasks. Hours: 15-18 hours per week
The job will include, but is not limited to, the following:
(1) Account Payables
(2) GL Reconciliation and assessment
(3) City related licensing including animal licenses and business licenses
(4) Assist the Office Manager/Recorder
(5) Assist with Human Resources
(7) Assist with Payroll and Quarterly Payroll Reports
(8) This position is also intended to serve as redundancy for other positions within the office.
Other responsibilities
- Assist in answering phone calls
- Provide front counter assistance
- Email, correspondence memos, letters,
- Maintain a filing system for areas of responsibilities
Skills
- Working Knowledge of Accounting software
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
