Bartender/Hospitality Team

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our hospitality team at Elizabeth's! Located in Oakway Center, we seek to provide the best food, wine, and hospitality experience in Eugene.

We are currently seeking a bartender or server with bartending experience!

Job Details:

-Learn our craft cocktail menu and prepare mixed drinks as needed

-Assist in creating seasonal craft cocktails

-Assist with inventory management and liquor ordering

-Present the menu, provide recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage options

-Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them efficiently to the kitchen

-Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.

-Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, ensuring timely refills and addressing any needs or concerns.

-Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials, offering suggestions and pairings when appropriate.

-Ensure the dining room and service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.

-Upsell menu items and specials to increase revenue.

-Handle payment transactions, process bills, and ensure accurate change is given.

-Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest service.

-Ensure all guests leave with a positive impression, seeking opportunities to exceed expectations.

-Perform closing duties promptly and with attention to detail

-Perform opening/closing duties for the bar area as needed

Requirements:

-Proven experience as both a server and a bartender.

-Proven experience mastering the art and skill of mixing drinks, with a deep understanding of spirits, recipes, techniques, flavor balancing, and efficient bar setup.

-The ability to discuss the nuances of our wine and cuisine with guests and staff in an eloquent way to foster enthusiasm.

-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

-Demonstrates diplomacy and professionalism in dealing with a diverse clientele.

-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
