Role Description
This is a part-time Project Manager–Design Assistant position combining project oversight with interior design support. The role is primarily remote, with regular on-site and in-office responsibilities throughout the greater Atlanta area. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating design logistics, supporting interior design tasks, and ensuring accurate execution of all project details. The position requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal team members to maintain design intent and quality standards. Additional duties include reviewing and inspecting deliverables, expediting schedules and orders, and assisting with on-site installations and client interactions to ensure seamless project completion.
Qualifications
- Strong project management, including developing schedules, tracking budgets, and maintaining organization across multiple projects.
- Conduct site measurements, attend site visits, and coordinate with contractors, builders, and vendors.
- Source and order furnishings, fabrics, finishes, rugs, accessories, and art.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Create client-facing presentations, design boards, and schedules to communicate design concepts clearly.
- Assist with project installations, contractor meetings, and overall logistics.
- Skills in Expediting and serving as an Expeditor to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliveries
- Proficiency in Inspection processes to maintain quality and address issues proactively
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, vendors, and team members to meet project objectives
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Experience in interior design, architecture, or related fields is a plus
