As a Sales and Customer Service Trainee, you will conduct sales through in-person client communication, strengthening relationships with business customers, and enhancing brand presence. Sales and Customer Service Trainee Responsibilities:
- Connect directly with local business customers through in-person communication to initiate sales and introduce client products and services
- Lead the customer sales process by understanding consumer needs and presenting applicable solutions based on client offerings
- Collaborate with other Sales and Customer Service Trainees and management to align on sales strategies, customer engagement initiatives, and continuous business development
- Stay informed on the client industry and competitive advantages to effectively communicate benefits to potential customers
- Undergo complete training on client protocols, products, promotions, and pricing strategies to confidently drive sales and support business goals
- Provide a consultative and personalized customer experience, using professional communication to build trust and close sales
Sales and Customer Service Trainee Qualities:
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- High School Diploma or GED (required); post-secondary education or relevant certifications are a plus
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or marketing is preferred
- Ability to quickly absorb Sales and Customer Service Trainee protocol, client product knowledge, and sales training to apply effectively in consumer-facing interactions
- Proven ability to communicate persuasively and professionally both in-office and in customer settings
