Elite Therapy Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of children with speech and language disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with the Clinical Director and other speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality speech therapy services to children at the clinic.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical evaluations of children with speech and language disorders.
- Perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children with speech and language disorders.
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided to the child.
- Maintain patient files for each child in accordance with state regulations and agency standards.
- Attend monthly meetings with the Clinical Director regarding children, assessments, etc.
- Provide treatment sessions for children in accordance with the Clinical Director's treatment plans.
- Participate in training sessions as needed in order to maintain competencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in speech pathology, psychology, or related field preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain Certification in Child Language and Communication (CALC) within one year of hire, or obtain equivalent certification through a state agency, preferred. (Must be willing to complete certification within first month of employment)
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends (some required).
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
